okay okay im sorry for not blogging abt this yesterday, cos i know some of you are dieing to find out! anyway, the secrets out already so its safe to talk abt it on my blog.

you see, yesterday was FULL of drama for me? couldnt guess? well, maybe im just a good actress. hah.

Yesterday, my family planned a SUPRISE party for my mom. like seriously suprise bcoz her birthday isnt until much later only. we had to do it now bcoz my sis was leaving soon. And this paticular birthday was a meaningful number, so we had to bring it out with a bang. haha

So the whole 2 weeks before that, my dad,sis and me were making plans for the party. and my mom didnt realise i thing. BCOZ WE'RE GOOODDDD. haha

anyway i though things were going wrong in school. it all started when i asked two classes to write a card for my mom.

on friday, one of the girls who were supposed to do the card was doing it in the PR, where

everyone saw it. She didnt tell anyone i think, but basically all the prefects knew about it lah. Then those prefects thought my mom's birthday was yesterday. and the RUMOUR spread like wildfire. soon everyone was coming up to my mom, wishing her happy birthday.

IMAGINE HOW I FELT.

i thought my mom would've guess that we were planning a suprise for her or connect it somehow from all the birthday wishes she was getting. which was quite annoying i think, BCOZ IT WASNT EVEN HER BDAY!

someone even asked me whether its true that there was gonna be a party for my mom. coming from a random form 2 prefect. she said she heard it in the PR. my face went white just then. i was scared that everyone knew that and was gonna blurt it out to her somehow. but thank god that girl didnt tell anyone else abt it, so that secret was safe.

on the way home, my mom asked me about why everyone was wishing her. apparently one lcass said that they heard it was her bitrhday from ME. yeah right lah.

thank god i covered up and did damage control, so she still didnt suspect anything.

thanks Su Ann for comforting me yesterday. meant a lot. i would've exploded from stress if it wasnt for you :)

once we left school we were safe from all those people. so i relaxed a lot more.

At home, me and my sis did last minute arrangements for the stuff, while fixing the powerpoint which we were gonna present. we were sneaking around doing it. haha

So me, my sis (Hanna) and my cousin (Krystal) had to leave early to set up at my cousins home.

we told my mom that we were dropping something off at Krystal's friends house then i was going to tuition straight. BUT I FORGOT TO BRING MY TUITION BOOKS WITH ME! so she asked my dad, why i didnt have my books, and my dad had to fib something up. sheesh. she was sharp.

So everyone arrived at the house and soon we got the call saying that my mom and dad were on their way. (She thought she was going for a farewell party for Hanna at my cousin's house)

Like true suprise party fashion, everyone rushed into the house giggling away at the thought of screaming SUPRISE to my mom. And most of the guests were adults okay. yeah, they can be cool lah.

Anyway, the lights were all switched off, and when my mom came down the stairs the lights got turned on and we sang happy birthday to her!

the best part is, she didnt even know we were singing abt her. she kept on looking around, wondering for who we were singing, and her face was priceless when we uttered her name. NOW THAT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY LAH.

basically after that we had our dinner, and had a small sharing session from friends about how they loved my mom. the powerpoint was great too, everyone loved the funky pictures.

So all's well that ends well, seriously.

My mom didnt even guess a thing, and we had a chance to throw a memorable party for my mom.

By the way, i was the emcee of the night, and lets just say i kicked butt. haha
